    Tracy has a wealth of experience in the Industrial Brake and Friction material market. 

    A graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.  Tracy’s Brake and Friction career began in 1983 with Champion Friction, (Champion Technologies today).  After a 16-year stint he moved on to Hawkhead in Orange Park, FL which was primarily a warehouse operation for both automotive and industrial friction material.  While at Hawkhead he helped to put together a partnership with a Chinese manufacturer (GTF) to manufacture a high-quality woven brake lining material.  In 2003, Tracy moved on to Carlisle Industrial Brake and Friction as the Manager of Aftermarket Sales, which included North America and Australia.  In 2010 he moved to WPT as Product Sales Manager.  

    The skills that Tracy brings to Industrial Clutch Parts Ltd include a history of working in the mechanical and industrial engineering market. His strong sales background added to negotiating, planning, operations and value stream mapping, ensures that his reputation with both distributors and OEM customers is of a man who gets things done! Tracy is experienced in negotiating long-term agreements and is adept at developing pull through business and understands the fine balance that needs to be struck between the OES and aftermarket side of the business model.

    Companies in the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing sector can learn about Lean Management through the Welsh Government’s support for participation in the Toyota Lean Management Programme, delivered by Toyota. Friction Technology have three participants attending this programme next week.
